Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy of people who contact us. This policy explains how we handle information associated with website visits, quotation requests, enquiries and collaboration opportunities. Last updated: 7 November 2026.
Who we are and scope
This policy covers the Cross Section Global website and information received by its team through the site. Our listed contacts include Cross Section Global in Jeddah and CROSS SECTION FZCO in Dubai. Responsibility for handling an enquiry depends on its nature and the entity managing it; the contracting entity will be identified in any subsequent proposal or agreement. For privacy enquiries, contact info@crosssection.net.
Information you provide
The quotation form collects your name and email address; you may also provide a phone number and organisation. It records your selected service, project type and answers relevant to that request, such as location, area or quantity, stage, timing, indicative budget, specifications and comments you choose to share. A reference number is stored with the request for follow-up. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or sensitive personal information. If you provide another person’s details, ensure you are authorised to share them.
How we use information
We use your information to understand requirements, assess the scope of work, seek clarification, prepare a suitable proposal when sufficient information is available, and follow up with you. Essential operational records may be used to protect the site, prevent misuse and investigate faults. Processing relies on an appropriate legal basis, including consent where required, steps relating to your request and applicable legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages.
Access and disclosure
Quotation requests are not displayed to visitors or published as project content. Administrative access is limited to authorised website team members according to their responsibilities. Hosting and technology providers may process information needed to operate the service. If specialist input is needed for a proposal, we limit any disclosure to what is necessary and appropriate; requests are not automatically shared with the collaboration network. Specific information may also be disclosed to meet a legal obligation or a competent authority’s request.
Hosting and technical processing
The site operates on Wix, whose platform and service providers may use infrastructure outside your country of residence. We take applicable requirements into account when transferring information or making it available to providers. Wix’s privacy policy explains the platform’s practices. Following a link to LinkedIn or another external site takes you to an independent service governed by its own policies.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies may support site operation, security and preferences. If analytics or marketing tools requiring consent are enabled, they are managed through the choices presented and applicable requirements. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect some functions.
Retention and security
We retain request information for as long as needed to assess and follow up on the enquiry, document our dealings or fulfil a legal obligation. When the purpose ends and no retention requirement applies, we work to delete the data or remove its association with an identifiable individual. Appropriate access controls and technical and organisational measures help protect information; no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may request information about processing, access or a copy of your data, correction, deletion of information no longer needed, and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it. Email info@crosssection.net and include your request reference if available. Proportionate identity checks may be necessary to protect your information. We will explain any legal reason preventing a specific request and you may contact the competent data protection authority where appropriate.
Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, processing or applicable requirements. The update date appears at the top of this page. An update does not permit a new use of information requiring consent without meeting the relevant requirements.
